  • Q: Can I use my Steampunk Riders Apps on multiple devices?

    A: Yes, the Steampunk Riders apps work on multiple devices. For IOS devices they need to be connected to the same iTunes account. For Android devices, they need to share the same Google account. While the application and your account will work across devices, you will however need to enter your child's name on each new device.

  • Q: Which devices are supported by Steampunk Riders?

    A: Steampunk Riders apps were designed to work on IOS 4.2.1 and IOS 5.1 on the iPad, iPad2 and the new iPad, as well as iPhone and iPod. It is also designed to work on a majority of Android smartphones and tablets using Android OS from 2.2 through 2.3.x.

  • Q: What happens if I forget my username or password?

    A: If you have forgotten your password, please go to http://steampunkriders.com/user/password and enter your account email to have the password reset. If you have forgotten your account's email please email us at: support@steampunkriders.com

  • Q: Why can't I hear any sound with I play the games?

    A: Steampunk Riders apps were designed to work on IOS 4.2.1 and IOS 5.1 on the iPad, iPad2 and the new iPad, as well as iPhone and iPod. It is also designed to work on a majority of Android smartphones and tablets using Android OS from 2.2 through 2.3.x.

    • Make sure that the mute button (the speaker icon) in the app is unmuted (has no red line through it)
    • Make sure the volume on your device is at a high enough level to hear sound
    • Check the mute switch on your device and make sure that it is unmuted as well
    • Make sure you are using the latest version of the app and device operating system
    • If all else fails, restart the device
  • Q: When I open the app it crashes, what can I do?

    A: For iOS- if this happens when using an iOS device, try closing some other apps to be sure there is enough memory to run the Steampunk Riders app. You can do this by double-clicking your "home" button (the round button at the base of the iPad) - you'll see a bar at the bottom with all the apps you have open. Touch and hold any of the app icons, until you see them wiggle with a little red "minus" sign. Touch the minus sign next to all the apps you want to close, then once that's done, go back and try to open your Steampunk Riders app once more. If you still have a problem, please let us know so that we can try to fix the issue!

    A: For Android you may need to shutdown other running applications. To do this you go to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Running (Tab) and click on any running application that might be taking up a lot of RAM. You will then get a screen where you have the option to "Stop" or "Force Close" that app.

  • Q: What if I want to reinstall the Steampunk Riders app?

    A: For iOS, you can resync your device to reinstall your Steampunk Riders app in the Apple Store, where you can click "Buy" again in the App Store. Apple won't recharge you.

    A: For Android, you can go to Google Play or "Play Store" on your device and tap on "My Apps" from the menu where you should be able to reinstall purchased apps.

    A: For Amazon Appstore, you can go to Amazon Appstore online or "Amazon Appstore" on your device and tap on "My Apps" from the menu where you should be able to reinstall purchased apps.
